The US government is, by far, the largest space industry customer. Congress approves all expenditures of its various space programs. Most are military and aimed at national defense. NASA's budget doesn't equal one percent (1%) of the national budget, and its funding is subject to political whim. Many important missions are delayed or canceled before they can benefit the people - which is a waste of the brilliant talent that NASA employs.

XCATI PSP, the Private Space Program, is accountable only to its members, and only PSP members decide the program's mission. The PSP is a program designed by and for its members, under the technological and operational expertise of XCATI's staff. 

On the PSP platform, members can get industry news and updates, view locations of orbiting satellites in real-time, collaborate on space projects with other members and XCATI technical staff and most importantly, vote on all major decisions for the program like where to go and what missions to perform once there.
